About Me

As a former engineering student turned financial advisor, my goal is to share my financial knowledge with the engineering community through continued financial education. I strive to make your wealth work efficiently to achieve your personal goals. I provide academic-based financial planning advice to my clients. I strive for excellence, but am aware perfection can be detrimental.

I earned my bachelor of science in engineering science with a mechanical emphasis from The College of New Jersey. I currently reside in Red Bank, NJ with my girlfriend, Sara. When I am not helping engineers plan financially, I enjoy being on a boat, playing soccer, or studying financial planning topics.

 

Why Not Engineering?

When the time came to look for jobs senior year of college, none of the engineering jobs excited me. Although I appreciate the knowledge behind engineering, my intellectual curiosity was much more focused on learning how to invest my money wisely.

I did not want to earn money then rely on a sales person with no formal education to advise me on how to manage my money. I wanted to know the truth... What better way to get the truth than to educate myself on the mysterious world of finance and educate others who think similarly to me.

Here I am, an engineering student turned CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Engineering school, or any education for that matter, is not about how much information you can cram into your brain in a certain amount of time, rather it is about learning to think critically about the obstacles life throws your way and formulating solutions to make yourself a better person to help others.
